W.H. Grindley "Old Chelsea" Sugar and Creamer Ironstone

Fine Staffordshire ironstone from Tunstall, England. Made by W.H. Grindley in the "Old Chelsea" pattern. As an antique item, there is some slight fading and discoloration. If inspected carefully, there is also some barely noticeable crazing on the sugar dish. These "flaws" represent a story told over time and across family tables. Otherwise in great condition, without chips or cracks.

Measurements are approximately:

Creamer: 4.5" high at tallest point

4.5" wide from handle to tip of spout)

holds approximately 8 oz.

Sugar: 5" high with lid on

6" wide from handle to handle

holds approximately 12 oz.
