L.E. Smith milk glass nappy bowl in the "Quintec Heritage" pattern, circa 1945 - 1970. Why a nappy bowl? The word "nappy" is an older term referring to a rimless, small, open bowl (nap or knapf) with or without a single handle.

This nappy bowl is in excellent condition, without chips, cracks, or scratches. Perfect as a berry bowl, snack bowl, or your morning yogurt.

*L.E. Smith Glass Company of Mt. Pleasant, PA is known to have acquired a number of McKee Glass molds. L.E. Smith Glass was one of the last original American molded glass companies. They closed their doors in July of 2004. Smith Glass along with Westmoreland Glass represent perhaps the best examples of early American glass artistry.
