Antique Yuan Style Jar / Zhadou / Chinese Porcelain Pot
Antique Yuan Style Jar / Zhadou / Chinese Porcelain Pot
This Chinese porcelain hand-painted pot was most likely made in the late Qing Dynasty. You can see the natural straw marks and imperfections from being fired so long ago where the environment was not so controlled. While made during the Qing Dynasty, its bulbous shape suggests it was crafted in the Yuan Dynasty style. It is a beautiful and rare piece of history! Would pair well with the Antique Qing Dynasty / Ko-sometsuke Porcelain Decorative Plates.
Measurements are approximately:
4.5" in diameter at mouth (opening is 3.5")
2.5" in diameter at base
3.5" tall
